The next time you're locked out of your car in West Lafayette, there will be no need to slip a ten to the nearest loitering teenager to induce him to pick it for you.
Now the police force will open your car for free.
This is actually an old service from the 80's which was discontinued after most modern vehicles starting using electric locks.
The police force, however, will take no responsibility for any damaged property which occurs as they do this free service, but they will decline the ten bucks.
